THE ANSWER
With decades of TV production behind us and some of the UK’s most talented TV professionals in our network, we were able to provide Yellowbird with everything necessary for maintaining the standard and smooth running of their production.
Our location production services included budgeting and managing all local costs and the provision of production management team, including Head of Production, Production Executive, Production Manager, Junior Production Manager, Line Producer, and Locations Manager.
By contracting and paying suppliers and freelancers directly, we were also able to provide Yellowbird with everything from crew – including ADs, security, camera, sound, lighting, design, costume and make-up – to film extras, kit, travel and hotel arrangements, and office space.
And with a freelance Production Accountant on the team, clear sign-off systems for finance – including reporting and paying invoices – were put in place, and payroll and pension services were applied to all those who were PAYE.
During filming, we also took responsibility for overseeing Health & Safety and made sure the production and everyone involved with it was following local Covid protocols and acting in accordance with UK law.
The wellbeing and reputation of the Yellowbird team were in our hands, and we held them with care.
