OUR STORY
Founded in 2020, Nest Productions is the UK's most trusted production partnerships company with a community of over 150 production company partners which has transformed the UK indie production landscape.
Nest came into being after we spotted a growing need for production management support outside the realms of traditional TV – and an urgent need for friendly and fair production support within it.
Now, with teams across the UK, Nest is trusted by its creative partners and clients to provide the infrastructure and support needed to turn ideas into TV reality.
At Nest, no task is impossible – in fact, we actively seek out projects that break boundaries and pose new challenges. Everyone at Nest has a solid background in television, digital content and events and we love using the expertise we’ve acquired throughout our respective careers to help ambitious people and productions succeed.
OUR VISION
We are committed to becoming a leading production partner, known for our friendly and positive approach, providing trust, and helping ambitious people and productions succeed.
OUR VALUES
We care about people, and we care about our work. We want everyone – our own teammates, our partners, our suppliers, and other industry professionals – to enjoy and benefit from working with us, whoever they are and whatever their background. Making brilliant content isn't always easy, but when there is mutual trust and respect between everyone involved it can be hugely rewarding and enormous fun, too.
WE ARE COMMITTED
We understand our role is to work in collaboration with our partners, to help them reach their goals, and to ensure that our input is positive, seamless, and straightforward. We're committed to our partners and strive to develop longlasting relationships that bring them back time and time again.
WE ARE TRUSTWORTHY
Our reputation is important to us and we're proud of the trust our partners and colleagues put in us. We bring a true sense of care and professionalism to everything we do and work closely with our network to ensure that we can provide a reliable service to our partners, no matter the challenge.
WE ARE HUMAN
We're real and we're human – just like everyone we work with. Yes, we are professional, but this doesn’t mean we are cold and serious; we are friendly and approachable, and consciously aim to create a positive, kind environment, where people can feel at home.
WE ARE DIFFERENT
We're full of energy, ideas, and a sense of excitement, and this attracts the best projects and people. From full-time to freelance support, we work with and nurture the best talent so we can give our partners the best service and set new industry standards.
Katy hopped into the Nest in 2022 after several years at Plum Pictures where she worked her way up the Production Management ladder on a varied range of productions with complex access, interesting filming locations and experience of managing talent led productions.
An air of calm follows Katy wherever she goes, and this is a touch she brings to her productions and the production management teams who work with her. Katy loves something new and breaking down how to get it done, with an evaluating eye she will review the obstacles of a production and offer practical path through.
Katy is experienced in Formatted Factual Programmes, Documentaries and Factual Entertainment productions. She is experienced in production with complex access and contributor requirements and sending teams on international shoots.
The fact that Claire holds a UK No1 Single and Gold Disc Award, presented by Sony BMG for her production work on the critically acclaimed BBC Children in Need charity single and video, Peter Kay’s Animated All Star Band, is a mere hint at the scope of her talent.
With 20 years’ experience in the broadcast industry, Claire has held numerous senior production positions both in the UK and Australia and been responsible for the successful management and production of hit global content for some of the industry’s leading broadcasters, including the BBC, ITV, Disney+, National Geographic, and Discovery Networks.
Claire’s glittering career has seen her work across a wide variety of genres – including live studio, documentary, factual entertainment, and animation. She’s also produced award-winning advertising content for Australia’s industry front-runner, The Brand Agency, executed ambitious shoot plans for BBC Top Gear, and worked with high profile talent including movie star, Chris Hemsworth.

Production Manager
Gaby joined Nest Productions after 15 years of working in prime-time TV across a multitude of genres, including entertainment, reality (scripted and non-scripted), cooking, comedy, and panel shows. She’s since added online gaming to the list, having been the production manager on our client, MonRae’s brand new Let's Game... series for Sky.
A problem-solver of the highest order, Gaby doesn’t only cope with the constant challenges that come with TV production; she actively enjoys them. If ever evidence were needed, this is a woman who, in her own words, ‘survived’ being the production manager on no less than three series of the Channel 4 comedy show, Celebrity Juice.
Her many other credits include a raft of productions for ITV Studios, including Dancing on Ice, Come Dine with Me, Peter Andre: My Life, and an incredible six series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here. She also spent a year with Australia’s Endemol Shine, working on global hits Junior Masterchef and Australia’s Next Top Model.
Hannah migrated into Nest in 2021 as one of our first Production Managers having hopped between stage and screen productions for sometime. Over her 10 years in the industry, she’s worked on a wide variety of projects and handled budgets for everything from regional TV pilots to Children’s Drama, with a stint in Post-Production too!
The embodiment of adaptability and thinking on your feet, Hannah is happy to be deployed where needed and a dab-hand at managing projects changing on the ground and finding last-minute creative solutions to the problems thrown at her, and always with a smile on her face. Hannah can be found in our Manchester office and is always up for a brew to say hello.
Hannah is experienced in Children’s Drama & Animation, Documentaries and Factual Programming as well as Live and Theatre productions. Hannah has a strong knowledge of both short form/advertising as well as long form content.
Sarah Thornewell
Sanja Griffiths
Senior Production Manager
Production Manager
As someone who makes a mini call sheet for her own holidays, there’s no doubting Sarah’s obsession with TV production! Her career history proves the point too, with her having progressed from full time runner at Maidstone Studios all the way through the ranks of production management, over a period of 15 years.
Working across a wide range of genres, including studio entertainment, live, kids, gameshows, archive and factual entertainment, Sarah has overseen the production of programmes for all the UK’s major broadcasters and looked after projects with both small and large budgets. A plate spinner of extraordinary talent, she’s often worked across multiple productions simultaneously.
Among Sarah’s impressively long list of credits are Britain’s Brightest Celebrity Family (ITV), The Void (ITV), Cinderella: A Pantomime for Comic Relief (BBC), Agatha & Poirot: Partners In Crime (ITV), Derren Brown: 20 Years of Mind Control (C4), Britain’s Greatest Comedy Character (UKTV), and The X Factor (ITV).
Sanja glided into the Nest in 2021 having spent five years traversing the world of factual television production across a wide range of broadcasters and production companies in the UK.
A born explorer who thrives on new challenges and experiences, Sanja’s adventures in TV land have already seen her setting up shoots and seeing productions through to delivery (even claiming to enjoy the paperwork). This has included working on shoots in locations as diverse as the Isles of Scilly to the remote wilderness of Siberia.
Sanja is experienced in Factual programming from High End Documentaries to Constructed Reality/Observational productions, as well as experience in Scripted and Live Productions. She is confident managing both UK and US broadcasters for filming and post/delivery.
Jamie Wyatt
Production Coordinator
Danielle Tremain
Talent Manager
Jamie fluttered into the Nest at the beginning of 2022 after returning to UK, following a short stint in Mallorca. Here he worked for a Production Services company to support shoots in Spain ranging from advertising through to an Adam Sandler Hollywood movie.
Having joined us as a Trainee Coordinator initially Jamie worked closely with all of our Production Management teams to soak up as much knowledge as he could and has fully graduated as a Production Coordinator in his own right who loves rising to a challenge and will always go the extra mile to help his productions.
Jamie is experienced in Scripted and Unscripted Productions. Most recently he has been working on Documentaries in a wide range of subjects and is confident setting up filming and delivering one-off’s or series to all UK broadcasters.
Aside from her almost human friendship with her Burmese cat, Dolly, it’s safe to say that Danielle is very much a people person. She’s also a person who’s experienced a diverse range of roles within television. And those two things combined make for an extraordinarily intuitive talent manager.
Danielle launched her TV career in 2004 on Channel 4’s daily, live Richard & Judy Show, where she was later promoted to the role of producer. Many programmes later, Danielle established herself as a freelance producer and senior producer, making shows for leading broadcasters including the BBC, Sky and ITV, as well as content for major brands.
Before taking a career break to raise her three children, Danielle worked on everything from This Morning and Surprise Surprise to multiple series of TOWIE, including oversees specials. Recognising her flair for matching people with programmes, she then re-entered the workplace as part time Talent Manager for Studio Lambert, before bringing her sharpened skills to Nest Productions.
